Reise im Juni 2001 durch Japan’s Norden mit JR Japan-Railpass:
Tokyo – Nikko – Aomori – mit dem Zug durch den Tunnel nach Hakodate – Date (dort Auto gemietet) – Shikotsu-Toya NP – Sapporo – Shikotsu-Toya NP – Date – Hakodate – mit Fähre nach Aomori – Tokyo.

Besonders loben will ich noch unser Reiseführer „Japan von Stefan Loose Verlag“.
Da unser Japanisch ein wenig „eingerostet“ ist, war er ein unglaubliches Hilfsmittel um Vor-Ort englisch sprachige Unterkünfte ordern zu können (so gut wie immer mit korrekter Tel. und Adresse).
Von den praktische Aufpau und Tips mal abgesehen.
This time I wasn’t surfing in the USA, but in Japan and came across these pictures and I liked the scenery. Japan seems to be an interesting country. The most thrilling thing certainly was to get along by public transport, not being able to read the Japanese letters and signs… Would be nice to see some more fotos.
